I tried out Ginger cookies- inspired by the Ernest Adams Ginger slice. The slice has wavy lines on top of it, so to replicate that, I added some wavy lines with ginger icing on top of a plain spiced cookie base. Ginger icing on top of a ginger base is the rule for this one. The family loved these cookies, they were almost all gone before I could take the pictures. Although slightly messy in presentation, and larger than I would have liked, the cookies looked like they could have come out of a bag from the supermarket.
