Promotion.

We had varied ideas for our promotion but decided to keep it pretty simple. We had thought about tv adverts, recipes books and a stand. We felt that a recipe book would be too much and it doesn't really fit with our idea? so instead of this we simplified it down into a recipe that could be included in the actual biscuit packaging. This recipe could be something like a cheesecake made with our biscuits as a base or for turning one of their other slice flavours e.g. lemon into a biscuit. This fits a lot better as it is pre packaged but also reflects the values and target audience well. Recipes hold a lot of tradition to them, this would have been written by Ernest Adams. They are also a way for families to spend time together and share.

Our second element was a stand, we chose this to reflect "bakery styles" to do this we used a wooden and cane stand, with a chalk board and hand written aesthetic for titles. While the Slice Bites will still be eye catching on their own in the biscuit isle, we wanted this to be more distinctive and a stand is perfect because it catches the interest of people easily.
